Our Projects and Programs
What We Do
The Autism Project of Palm Beach County hosts two major fundraising events during the year. Our formal dinner event allows us to reach out personally to our community of supporters. Our virtual auction is an exciting month long event, where our supporters engage in silent bidding for a variety of donated items.
The funds raised through The Autism Project of Palm Beach County events provide for programs designated to the Learning Academy, which serves children and young adults with ASD. Our projects focus on enabling students to grow into productive members of our community.
The Autism Project of Palm Beach County events provide funding for the construction of their Community Residential Homes (CRH). "Babe's House" is the first of a one-of-a-kind CRH specifically designed to enhance the comfort and independence of adults diagnosed with ASD. It was built with many of the autism-friendly design features as The Els Center of Excellence, keeping in mind the need for movement opportunities and sensitivities to sound and light. "Babe's House"will serve as a model home to continue our mission in assisting individuals to grow into productive members of our community.
We are currently in the process of seeking sponsors to help us build our second Community Residential Home, "Church Street".
